Members of the Conejo Valley Woodworkers Association held a spoke shave class in Oxnard, CA. on August 4. Tim Albers, past president of the group, coordinated the class after seeing Russ demonstrate at a recent PAST (Preserving the Art & Skills of the Trade) Antique Tool Collectors Association winter show in San Diego.

 

Several members of the group met at Heartwood Milling,  owned by Brady Andresen, who is also a member of the group. A great time was had and the members had a wonderful spoke shave to take home when they left.
